Description

F-100 therapeutic milk has been specially designed for the nutritional rehabilitation of people suffering from severe acute malnutrition, during phase 2 of the management protocol established by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

It complies with the specifications defined by nutritionists for treating people suffering from severe acute malnutrition, and is intended for use in health centres with medical supervision.

In phase 1, the stabilisation phase for people suffering from severe acute malnutrition in hospital, F-75 therapeutic milk is used.

It should be used in health centres with medical supervision.


 

Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended for the first 6 months of life, and continued breastfeeding is recommended for up to two years or beyond.
