1986 – Feeding children: Creation of Nutriset

 

Michel Lescanne founds Nutriset with the goal of feeding vulnerable populations in developing countries and providing humanitarian actors workers with innovative and effective nutritional products.

1993 – Launch of the F-75 and F-100 milks 

 

Optimize the management of severe acute malnutrition in health centers. The F-75 and F-100 therapeutic milks and therapeutic CMV / ReSoMal are made available.

1996 – Plumpy’Nut®, the first RUTF

 

Facilitate the community-based management of severe acute malnutrition. Plumpy’Nut®, the first Ready‑to‑Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF), is made available.

2001 – Implantation of the industrial site of Malaunay (76)

 

Ensure a production capacity and responsiveness that meet demand. Launch of the Malaunay industrial site in Normandy (France).

2005 – Creation of the PlumpyField® network

 

Initiated by Nutriset, the PlumpyField® network gathers independant entrepreneurs who locally manufacture and provide products of Nutriset in countries affected by malnutrition. 
PlumpyField® members round out the Nutriset offer and are drivers of local development by promoting local agriculture, processing food and contributing to the combat against malnutrition.

2006 – Expansion of the Plumpy® range

 

To treat and prevent moderate acute malnutrition, Nutriset offers new products such as Plumpy’Sup™ and Plumpy’Doz™.

2008 – Launch of the Enov® range

 

To prevent chronic malnutrition by relying on the "1,000 days" concept that covers the nutritional needs of a child from conception to 24 months.

2010 – Implementation of the patent use agreement

 

Nutriset implements the patent use agreement for producers in developing countries to facilitate local production in program countries. 

2014 – Launch of the Growell® range

 

For the public at large, Nutriset offers the Growell® product range, to bring a nutritional support to the whole family and to support children's growth.

2016 – Nutriset celebrates its 30th anniversary!
